As the year 2002 draws to a close, so does the leadership of the Chairman of the Editorial Committee, Dr. J.K. Joseph. We take this opportunity to express our thanks to Dr. Joseph for his many contributions to the content and improvements in the NMSC Grapevine publication. While we will miss the support of Dr. Joseph, we will be better able to carry on because of the lessons learned during his term as Chairman. He takes with him our gratitude and best wishes.

We also take this time to introduce the Editorial Committee for 2003 and to say thank you for the efforts of the Committee members that contributed to the success of 2002. No publication can be successful without the contributions made by the many authors that have supported us through the years. We are grateful for their support of our requests for clinical and educational material and guidance.

And finally, a thank you to the most important members of our publication family... you, the reader. Without you, there is no need for the NMSC Grapevine. We value your comments and advice for improvements in our publication.
